Shazara Brooks enjoys coffee, music, spending time with her kids, and writing about badass space captains.

Her hobbies include — but are not limited to — making people cry when they read her books, dropping banger lines, and leading a cult that is definitely *not* a cult.

She is currently working on the next book in the Secrets of the Nebula series and hopes to extend her hobbies to making her readers throw her books across their room while sobbing and screaming, “You can’t just drop that on me and expect me to be okay!”
