David Fornelli

David Jovani Fornelli is the head of Marketing and Short-Term Rentals for Nopali Properties, a family-based team of renovation and hospitality specialists who redevelop homes into spaces that not only appease the eye but please the soul. Nopali Properties, composed of his wife Amanda Fornelli, his brother-in-law Oscar Bustos, and their support team, is well known for their execution of stunning vacation rentals, and has taken that expertise to the public, offering A-Z services for Short-Term Rental investors. David is one of the Co-Founders of Yara Hotel, a wildly successful boutique oasis that seamlessly intertwines relaxation with a Mediterranean and Balinese design, an unmatched vibe for Palm Springs, CA. Prior to working in real estate, David unearthed ancient relics and lost civilizations as a California Desert Archaeologist for 6 years after earning a master’s degree in Anthropology graduating with honors. David saw past the relentless sun and harsh landscapes and embraced the simplicity, stillness, and beauty of the desert, traits that are fully realized in every one of his team's homes. Over the past two years, David has spoken on numerous stages in front of hundreds of real estate professionals, has been a guest on 12 different podcasts, and one of his vacation homes received an International Staging and Design Award! He is the recent father of a beautiful and powerful baby girl, a proud husband, and in his spare time, loves to camp and travel with his family.
