George Bickerstaff

George William Bickerstaff III is an author, board director, and healthcare executive whose fiction and nonfiction examine family, trust, and the institutions that shape modern life. He served for five years as chief financial officer of a global pharmaceutical company, co-founded a healthcare and technology investment bank, and has sat on more than forty corporate and nonprofit boards, including as Chair of the International Vaccine Institute.

He is the author of more than forty works, including the literary Still Point Trilogy — The Still Point, What Holds, and What Endures — and the governance book The Trust Machine. He holds degrees in engineering and business from Rutgers and is completing a Master of Public Health at Brown University. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut.
