Taurean C Washington

Taurean Washington holds a bachelor's degree in Studio Art from Hood College in Frederick, MD. Raised as a military child and enduring the challenging experiences in his upbringing, he was able to translate the vast changes and traumatic experiences into the work. As a result, the bold lines, vibrant colors, and thought-provoking subject matter is a product of how Taurean was raised.

It is Tauean's goal as an artist to penetrate the times and create a paradigm shift. He stands on the shoulders of great artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Robert Colescott, Pable Picasso, and Frida Kahlo among many others. However, Taurean wants to blaze new trails and reach uncharted territories as an artist, redefining what it means to be an artist in the modern era.
