Matthew Hanchard

Matthew S. Hanchard, PhD is a UK-based sociologist and science and technology studies (STS) scholar, known for his work around digital society, changing cultures of cultural consumption, open qualitative research, and analyses of the biomedical sphere (i.e., changes within the pharmaceutical market). He has worked on research projects funded by the European Commission, UKRI's AHRC and Research England, and the Wellcome Trust. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of MasH Research Consultancy Ltd, covering Biomedicine, Digital Society, & Open Research across Europe.
