Audrey Lee

Audrey Lee is the author of The Mechanics of Memory, which was nominated for Edgar®, Anthony, and Lefty awards. The audiobook was also awarded the IPPY Gold Medal for Best Mystery/Thriller. After two decades in public education, Lee now splits her time between writing and consulting with school systems on educational equity. She can often be found with a dirty martini in hand, making miniatures, betting on slot machines, or tending to a small, high-maintenance Maltipoo. Lee lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and (when he’s home from college) her son.

Her next suspense thriller, Never to Be Told, is scheduled for release in 2028.
