Ivan Lee Weir

Ivan Lee Weir was raised on a small farm among the lakes and forests of northern Minnesota. Besides fishing, hunting and trapping his early years were spent caring for animals, wrestling hay bales, and milking cows morning and night by hand. After elementary and high school, he earned college degrees ending with a Ph. D. in Sociology. Retiring from an academic career in research administration, he began writing fiction books, including Murder at Coffee Pot Landing, The Phantom Djinn, and The River Walk Child. His most recent book, Bison River Madam, will be available in March, 2025.
