Mark Munro

Mark is a Queensland based author, musician, tropical gardener, and numismatist. Mark was raised in the Canadian wilderness in Pinawa, Manitoba. After getting his degree in Computer Science, he worked in the oil industry in Calgary before migrating to Australia in 1987.

After several years in Melbourne’s IT industry, he moved to southern Queensland. His interest in tropical gardening led to becoming the editor of a horticulture journal, Palms & Cycads. An avid book collector, he wrote his first novel, Return to Rome, a time travel adventure in 2023.

He is a father of four, and lives with his wife Suan on their rural property near Bundaberg, Queensland.
