J. Carlo T. Torres is a psychoanalyst and youth-support advocate living in San Francisco with his partner. His most recent work, Heaven Is More Than A Rainbow, has been greatly informed by his own recollections of growing up in rural Philippines as a traditional bayot. He is also an advocate for LGBT adolescents who have become homeless in his home island of Mindanao.
