Abigail Updyke

Abigail Updyke, a captivating children's book author, resides near the South East coast, drawing inspiration from the enchanting surroundings. Hailing from Chattanooga, TN, she attended Girls Preparatory School, where her passion for storytelling blossomed alongside her prowess as a varsity swimmer.

Graduating with a Bachelor's in Science of Nursing from the esteemed University of Alabama, Abigail's compassionate nature shines through her heartfelt narratives. A devoted wife and mother of four incredible children, aged 3 to 11, she finds endless inspiration in her own family's adventures.

Having dedicated eight years to the fast-paced Emergency Room, Abigail now works as an Operating Room nurse at a renowned level 1 trauma center. This experience has instilled in her a profound appreciation for resilience and teamwork, which permeate her captivating stories.

When not crafting imaginative tales, Abigail cherishes cherished moments with her loved ones, be it water skiing, horseback riding, cheering on sports teams, diving into books, or embracing an active lifestyle through weightlifting.
