Ashley Shinholster

Ashley was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Cincinnati. She has been working with children and teaching dance for over 20 years and is the owner of Dance Concepts Studio. She always dreamed of getting married and being the mom who added a little extra sparkle to every day! She was waiting on God’s beautiful plan for her and after 7 years of International Cross Cultural mission work, she met and married her wonderful husband, Bawe (rhymes with Maui), in 2015. Three darling children followed quickly: Blessing, Bawe, & Kingdom. She felt her dreams had come true just like in the fairytales. Learning that her son was autistic turned her world upside down. Each evaluation and appointment would send her into a tailspin. With lots of tears, prayer, learning, support, and a beautiful community, she grew stronger. She was a warrior and her life’s purpose became clear. Her inspiration was to advocate for autism by sharing how wonderfully unique her son is. She values her faith, being a protector, using creativity, and celebrating life’s moments… big and small.
