Haritha Savithri

Haritha Savithri is a writer, freelance journalist, human rights activist, and translator. She has published several articles in Malayalam journals and online portals, mostly on Middle East politics and human rights violations. She has translated Iskender Pala's Tulip of Istanbul, The Crossing by Samar Yazbek, and The Cry of a Swallow by Ahmet Umit into Malayalam. Her 'Murivettavarute Pathakal' won the 2022 Kerala Sahitya Academy Award for the best travelogue and 'Zin' won the 2023 Kerala Sahitya Academy Award for the best novel. Zin also won the Udya Sahitya Puraskaram 2023. Haritha lives in Spain and pursuing research in English Philology at the University of Barcelona.
