“I never intended to be the person that I am, but I intend to love the person I have become.” When people tell me I’m weird and different, I smile and say thank you. I proudly stand out and stand firm in who I am. It took me a minute to become who I am, and, in the process, I have been judged. That is fine, because it is part of the battle. I saw myself walking down millions of dead-end roads, but without those hardships and those selfish choices, I would not have become the man of God I am now. So, I pose this question to you: Is it truly a dead-end road if it takes you somewhere you need to be? Perception is the key to successful people. There is no such thing as a dead-end or a pointless battle. Every path you take will lead you somewhere, so be precise in your decisions. Even the bad choices allow you to grow; however, they do hurt you in the process. Remember that we aren’t perfect as people, have free will, and are born into sin. This doesn’t mean using it as an excuse; it means accepting that you will fail sometimes. Progression is the key, and every battle is a step in the right direction. Some of us have to take more significant steps or steps for more extended periods, but the progression is all the same.
So who am I? I am merely Justin, a man and humble servant of God!
