Anne Pepper

As a child Anne Pepper was called the cow’s tail because she was always last. Despite being a dreamer, she managed to grow up to lead a practical life of earthly pursuits. Along the way she never lost her sense of the mystical element of life and it is from this that she writes. She is inspired by reflecting on Mother Earth, absorbing and cultivating joy for her mysteries and keeping wonder alive through meditation, good company, service to others, and time in nature.

Anne has a degree in English Literature with distinction from McGill University and spent many years as a writer for other people. She also taught writing for several years at the University of British Columbia and at Simon Fraser University in the Writing & Publishing program, both in Vancouver. Anne lives in a small town in British Columbia, Canada and has three children. Connect with her @byannepepper.
