All the world is perspective.
Matthew grew up on a small family farm in a rural town in western Pennsylvania. From a young age his experiences and his childhood gave him a view that was unique from that of his peers. As an adult his experiences and challenges may have broadened his scope, but his distinct perception has never changed. He enjoys trying to see any situation from all different angles, often giving him a perspective that makes its way into his writing.
Matthew began writing as a personal outlet for stress, simply by chance it was circulated amongst friends. His work was so well received that his books became the logical next step. Matthew still lives in that small town in Pennsylvania, a stones throw from the farm he grew up on and tends to work there along with his two sons. He is affectionately referred to as “Cowboy” by his friends, and colleagues. Those same friends and colleagues often make appearances in his works as he finds inspiration in them and many everyday occurrences.
