Mats Agerstam

Mats Agerstam is a Principal Engineer at Intel NEX (Network and Edge) group in Portland, OR. Mats has a long background and expertise in cloud- and edge native technologies, product development with specific expertise in device manageability, orchestration and lifecycle management. Previously, he has been leading multiple connectivity solutions in the industry based on wireless technologies in the unlicensed spectrum and has deep expertise in peer-2-peer networking protocols. He was a key contributor to architectural definition of standards (Open Connectivity Foundation) in the IoT space covering a range of vertical markets such as retail, education and industrial. During his 20 year tenure as a software professional he has built up domain expertise in the platform security, wireless communication and protocols. Mats holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Engineering from Uppsala University, Sweden.
