I have always loved both telling and writing stories, creating new landscapes, characters and worlds. This love for writing was passed on to me from my mother, a school teacher. My mum had the amazing ability of narrating stories in a way that captured my imagination, making me not only want to hear more and more, but to create my own stories of fantasy worlds that one could almost imagine living in.

And so I did, I wrote!

Being an educational leader, teacher and counsellor myself, I found inspiration for stories from my students, generally a joyful bunch, at least most times.

When I’m not writing, teaching or volunteering, I enjoy spending precious time with my family and friends, cooking, drawing and reading. Each moment in life is a gift, which I treasure dearly!

My first book, Birth, Death and Moments Between is a collection of short stories about women and their incredible journey in life.

I hope the first book in Candy Cove the Magical Land of Candy folk: brings you as much joy reading it as it did for me writing it.
