Michael Scott Green

Author Michael Scott Green began his writing career as a screenwriter over thirty years ago in Los Angeles, where his television drama “The Medicine Game”, an L.A. Law of Medicine, was considered by CBS for a pilot and he was offered a writer’s job on David Kelley’s TV series and medical drama "Chicago Hope."

Instead, he chose to go back to law school, and now after a long career as a civil trial lawyer he is back at it and has published three books and two screenplays in the last two years. His novel “The Fear Within” is a psychological thriller about a New York psychoanalyst who must analyze his own dreams to track down a serial killer.

As a trial attorney, his law practice and education focused on the intersection of law and medicine. He has litigated medical malpractice cases, pharmaceutical mass torts, nationwide consumer class actions, family law and Hague Convention child abduction cases .

He has studied law, science and Freud's writings. In "The Fear Within" and "The Medicine Game", he brings his unique background to these unique stories.
