Jaime A. Villarreal is a poet, writer, and author of the acclaimed collections "Dreams" and "I'm searching for myself." Hailing from El Paso, Texas, he discovered his passion for writing during his freshman year of high school, thanks to the encouragement of a dear friend who ignited his creative spark. Jaime's poetry is deeply personal and relatable, crafted with the intention of resonating with readers on a deeply emotional level. He writes not just for himself, but with the goal of impacting as many people as possible, his poems are fragments of his soul curated to help those who have lost their own. His work has been recognized by winning the first-place recipient of the TJCSGA Poem of the Year award for his school “El Paso Community College” in 2019.
