M Lauryn Alexander

Author M. Lauryn Alexander has more than twenty-five years experiences as a classroom teacher in New York City. She is also a self-taught expert at being on time. As a New York State Certified Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), she has taught all levels of ELL (English to English Language Learners) in public high school and at the college level, at the City University of New York (CUNY).

As an ELL teacher, Ms. Alexander observed that most students aren't taught time management skills and as a result, many fail to see the importance of punctuality in their daily lives. The story in her novel, Time & Consequences, is an ideal teaching tool for teens, young adults, and grown adults as well. The first edition was published 2017 with an updated, new release in December 2023. Ms. Alexander is also a bilingual Spanish/English educator, and will publish this novel in Spanish in 2025.

M. Lauryn Alexander is a native Brooklynite and a global citizen. She has traveled the world, visiting France, Greece, Dubai and several Spanish-speaking destinations including Spain, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Ms. Alexander is a fitness walker and an avid reader. She also enjoys coin collecting.
