r. K. Sachdev was born and raised in the Bay Area to Punjabi parents. By including her Punjabi roots in her novel, she hopes to share a glimpse of the beautiful and vibrant culture with her readers. She has two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Cane Corso, and currently lives in San Jose, CA. She has always had a passion for writing and rosebud wallpaper is her first novel.
