Hi, I’m Kim Bock.

I’ve always loved telling stories that wander through mysterious castles, haunted woods, and stormy hearts—sometimes with a touch of romance, sometimes conjuring gothic horrors, and once in a while, following Maya the cat’s advice to add a witchy, cozy college mystery into the mix.

My writing never stays in one lane for long. I’ve dabbled in everything from romantic fantasy (my husband Eitel and Nacho the ginger fluff insist there’s real romance hiding in my worlds) to historical tales set in my home country of South Africa.

If there’s a secret, a twist, or something supernatural waiting in the shadows, you’ll probably find me writing about it—usually with Maya and Nacho supervising from their favorite sunny spots.

When I’m not crafting new worlds or matching wits with my characters, you’ll find me curled up with a good book, a mug of coffee, and my two feline editors close by.
