"For every thousand people hacking at the branches of evil, there is one person striking at its root". This quote by Henry David Thoreau expresses why I became a writer. As a boy I experienced injustice and ignorance; so as a man I have striven for the ascendancy of justice and wisdom to replace that injustice and ignorance.
After being educated and degreed as a philosopher, I began studying the works of Wittgenstein, William James, Kierkegaard, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche, Freud, and Jung. I became influenced by these great thinkers and others. I began to write; I first wrote of ego, need, natures, morality, truth, God. I taught Ethics and Logic, and Plato's Republic for many years. Then one evening I experienced an epiphany: I no longer needed to read, study, or teach. That part of my life was completed. At that moment I embraced what had been gnawing at my soul from childhood.
"The history of civilization has shown us that mankind has been, and still is, ruled by injustice and ignorance"; consequently, what can be done to counter this dominance?" To answer this question has been my life's quest.
I am writing my fourth book at this time; it reveals the force that holds existence together. It is Love. My wife showed me Truth is neither relative to the individual nor relative to perspective. Love is That; Love is All; Love is God.
