I run a free co-ed youth weightlifting & boxing club in the Fraser Valley (British Columbia) with my two teenage sons. We have won many community awards and were nominated twice by the local Chamber of Commerce for Non-Profit of The Year.

Our club name is Young Guns Weightlifting & Boxing Club. Our Instagram account is @youngguns_wc.

To fund the club and keep it free for the kids we initially sold club merchandise, protein donuts and held a gala in the past. We have not received any government grants in 2023.

We published a book recently titled Learn 2 Invest Kid. The book gives a background on our club and how we invested our surplus funds in dividend paying stocks during the pandemic. Dividends from stocks such as Suncor Energy, Royal Bank, Nike, Starbucks and Disney now cover most of our club costs. My sons and I have written the book and it is easy to read.

I have a degree in business administration and been investing in blue-chip dividend paying stocks for the past twenty-five years.
