Mustafa (Mussie) Sheikh

Mussie, the founder of The Bread Charity, started the organization at 22 years old in 2017. His motivation stemmed from witnessing the stark inequalities in his community. This observation of social disparities in his surroundings propelled him to take action.

After completing his Honors degree in Chemistry at Auckland University, Mussie embarked on his mission to aid children living in poverty. His approach was unconventional: he organized large supercar events, including police-escorted rallies with luxury cars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis. These events were not only innovative fundraising methods but also helped to raise awareness for the cause.

Mussie's philosophy is centered on taking immediate and impactful actions rather than extensive planning. This proactive approach has been fundamental to the growth and success of Bread Charity, which focuses on creating meaningful and lasting changes in the lives of children affected by poverty.
