Hillsborough, North Carolina, might seem a world away from bustling China, but for me, it was the fertile ground where a love for adventure sprouted. One Olympic night, watching vibrant cultures dance across the screen, it hit me: China. This was it. My wanderlust found its focus, and soon I was delving into online maps and Mandarin lessons, a plan brewing in my mind.

Eventually I touched down in Shantou, China. Surrounded by a whirlwind of unfamiliar sights and sounds, I embraced the challenge, diving headfirst into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture. From bustling city streets to serene mountain temples, every day was a kaleidoscope of discovery. And from that experience birthed my first book ‘Arya Abroad’. To inspire children to travel the world!
