Up until he became a dad himself in 2015, Henry knew very little about the world of children’s picture books, apart from his vivid memories of being a little boy and listening to his mum reading The Cat in the Hat to him over and over again until they both knew all of the words by heart.
His eyes were opened during the Christmas holidays in 2016 when a family member brought his little boy a copy of Julia Donaldson’s Stick Man. The bounce and flow of the beautiful rhyming words enthralled him so much that he was inspired to start writing himself.
Henry studied Aerospace Engineering at university and he now works in the Defence industry. He writes in his spare time and enjoys the creative outlet it provides.
Outside of work, Henry is a keen swimmer, reader, gardener and a hopeless golfer.
Henry has now written 10 children’s picture books and he plans to release each of them over time. The first of which, Ronnie Hood, is available now.
Henry has two little boys and they live in Sussex.
