Jonathan Clark Patrick

Jonathan Clark Patrick’s first book, Songs Presidential (Kelsay Books) was published in 2022. Songs Presidential is a series of biographies in verse about the American Presidency from Lincoln to Obama through which he threaded a personal memoir of growing up in the Nashoba Valley region of Massachusetts. Mr. Patrick’s second collection, a sequel to Songs Presidential entitled Out of Nashoba (Kelsay June 2024) continues the personal narrative he began in Songs Presidential. Selections from Out of Nashoba appeared in The Prairie Review Spring 2024. Mr. Patrick’s third collection When Angels Speak is focused on “outsider” artists and musicians and will be published in Spring/Summer 2026. “Watch Over Me” from When Angels Speak is included in the 2025 NorCal Poetry Anthology.
