Jane Harmon

I began teaching in 1989. I taught second and third grade for 22 years. I am the mother of two beautiful girls. I retired to be the nanny for my oldest daughter's two boys. However, I still tutor young elementary students because I love connecting with young children. I am an avid reader and love how authors create stories. My dream has always been to write a children's book.

I love how children ask questions about our world and when my grandson asked me about water going down the drain, in my mind a story was born. Water Down the Drain had many revisions before being published on January 2, 2024. I already have a draft of my second book and hope to continue to share my love of stories with you.
