Joshua L Mayer

Joshua Mayer is the author of the Black Bible book series. Naturally, being from Orlando, Florida, Joshua was raised by alligators and hospitality workers for "The Mouse". He spent his childhood between theme parks and horror movie conventions, which fueled his imagination for branching worlds together. This skill became more prevalent when he moved to the-middle-of-effing-nowhere... Upstate New York *audience shudders*. Reminiscing over palm trees in the isolation of the Adirondack Mountains, Joshua began writing and publishing several sci-fi fantasy novels... in a simple exchange for his sanity.

Joshua is a Creative Writing graduate of SUNY Adirondack. As a writer for SUNY Expressions Magazine, he received the Editor’s Choice award for his short story “Vague Vanities”. Joshua was the 2022 recipient of the Fiction Writing Award for Academic Affairs. He’s currently expanding his book series and operating The Teleprompters Publishing Co., based in Clifton Park, NY.
