Kathy Greggs is an award-winning author, U.S. Army Combat Veteran, Federal Civil Service Human Resources Manager, Gobal Human Rights consultant, CEO, and Film Producer dedicated to community advocacy, systemic accountability, and public service.
Drawing from over 25 years of leadership in Federal and Military Human Resource Management, Operational Strategy, and Grassroots activism, Kathy brings a grounded, authentic, and fearless voice to critical contemporary issues. She serves as the Founder and CEO of Fayetteville PACT (Police Accountability Community Taskforce) and Fayetteville PAC, leading transformational community initiatives and policy dialogue.
Her community leadership and public service have been recognized with numerous prestigious accolades, including the Presidential Volunteer Service Bronze Award (2018), the Juneteenth Freedom Pioneer Award (2019), the North Carolina A. Philip Randolph Institute Community Award (2022), the Federal Career Service Bronze Award (2023), the Global Recognition Award (2024), the Inspired 100 Award (2025), and the Community Impact Award (2026).
As a literary author, Kathy penned the acclaimed memoir The Mother, The Soldier, The Activist (2024), which was honored with both the International Impact Book Award for Social Activist Biographies (2024) and the Distinguished Authors Guild Award for Nonfiction (2024). Building upon this powerful foundation, her book The Struggle Beyond the Bunker expands on her narrative of endurance, resilience, purpose, and unyielding advocacy across military, civic, and personal battlegrounds.
Beyond the page, Kathy is an active Film Producer whose production credits include documentaries such as Justice Will Prevail: Envisioning AI's Impact on Humanity and Fayetteville PACT American Rescue Plan Funds. Through Public administration, award-winning literature, and cinematic storytelling, her work bridges executive leadership with social advocacy to empower communities and inspire lasting systemic change.
