Harry. H Reed was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where he has spent his entire life. His journey through various professional landscapes culminated in 2020, marking the end of a successful 40-year career in sales. Embracing a change of pace, he now dedicates part of his week to driving senior citizens to their medical appointments, a role he performs with a sense of community spirit and care.
Genealogy has been a passion of his for over three decades. This love for tracing family histories not only reflects his deep appreciation for the past but has also significantly influenced his writing. In his spare time, he finds joy in the simple pleasures of life – good music, a fine glass of wine, and the warmth of a campfire.
Alongside his wife and their beloved boxer, Mr. Reed is an avid traveler. Their adventures in their camper take them across the United States, sometimes for weeks on end, exploring the vast and varied landscapes of the country. This love for travel and exploration is a testament to their adventurous spirit and love for life on the road.
Before achieving his milestone of becoming a published author, he wrote three unpublished books: “Voices from the Past: The Reed Family History,” “Surefire Living Hell: My Father’s Stories from the Korean War,” and “Bloodline.” His first published work, “Tongues of Deception,” is a culmination of his lifelong interest in genealogy and storytelling, weaving a narrative that is as compelling as it is revealing.
