Ryan Kmetz

Ryan Kmetz is an experienced Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resilience professional dedicated to investigating the pressing environmental issues of today and identifying sustainable solutions for tomorrow. Ryan's passion for the natural world and fascination with infrastructure has driven his multifaceted career advancing climate resilience across diverse regions and organizations.

Leveraging expertise in geographic information systems (GIS) and data science, Ryan works cross-collaboratively to engage stakeholders and drive impact. His analytical approach combines data synthesis, technology integration, and geospatial mapping to provide actionable insights tailored to local and regional climate challenges. Over the past decade, Ryan has worked extensively with state municipalities, city governments, college campuses, and nonprofits helping develop comprehensive sustainability plans and climate action strategies.

Ryan draws on his diverse educational background in pursuing his passion for sustainability. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England, where he researched best practices using ecological footprint analysis for industry. Additionally, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Le Moyne College. He is a certified APPA Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) and an Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
