Bethany C. Crowley, MFT, CEDS, BCN, is the founder and clinical director at The Journey Therapy, an intensive outpatient program for those with eating disorders, in Kailua, Hawaii. She is a certified eating disorders specialist, an EMDRIA-trained EMDR practitioner, and certified in biofeedback by BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance). Crowley has provided clinical supervision for student interns and new therapists and has served as a consultant for schools, insurance companies, medical teams, and wellness centers. She develops all curricula for The Journey Therapy IOP.
Crowley has spent more than 25 years treating the struggles of food and body image through direct client care at all levels—including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. She treats her patients by teaching them the nine integrative, foundational skills necessary to stop disordered eating for good—and to improve their ability to cope with everyday stressors. She has guided hundreds of patients to full lasting recovery. Bethany Crowley is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, and currently resides in Kailua, Oahu. She loves what the island life has to offer, and spends most days in nature, at the beach with her family and her three dogs.
She is currently offering an online training program for professionals who would like to learn how to apply Crowley's integrative approach to treating eating disorders. Crowley also provides supervision to participants in the program while they are learning her integrative approach.
