Maggie Kennedy spends early mornings staring out a window at a row of 100-year-old sycamore trees. Sometimes a poem comes along. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including Epiphany, Spoon River Poetry Review, and Atticus Review. She honed her craft at Eastern Illinois University and the University of Chicago.
