Jacoline Steegstra

Jacoline Steegstra is a relationship therapist, mediator, speaker, and author from The Netherlands, dedicated to helping couples build deeper emotional connection and lasting love.

Drawing from decades of personal experience, professional training, and counseling work with couples, Jacoline combines practical relationship wisdom with deep insight into communication, attachment, and emotional connection. Her work is also shaped by her interest in Christian faith, philosophy, and the belief that love is not only something we feel, but something we intentionally nurture and grow.

She is the author of the Dutch book Liefde kun je leren (“Learning to Love”) and its English translation The Art of True Love and Connection.

Beyond her professional work, Jacoline enjoys music, painting, gardening, and meaningful conversations about relationships and personal growth. Despite living with osteoarthritis and a neurological condition, she continues to inspire others through her resilience, creativity, and passion for helping relationships flourish.

Jacoline lives in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, with her husband Dolfi. Together they have three adult children and are enjoying life as grandparents.
