Jeff Otis

Jeff Otis is a fiction author whose novels center on magical realism and/or science fiction. Future technology, believable events, humor, suspense, good character development, and scenes that may scare you, are what he shares. Depending on which book you read, if you love dinosaurs, you'll get to know them intimately, if you love ancient Roman gods, you may meet a few. There will always be scenes that make you laugh and others that make the hair on the back of your head rise. He avoids plots that aren't believable. Several of his short stories appear in anthologies published by SW Writers. In 2023 he won first place in the humor category for his short story The Gift, which appeared in the anthology Woven Pathways. In addition, he loves painting in oils, dinosaurs, cosmology, great music, archaeology, mathematics, and paleontology. He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife, Ida, and family.
