Ms Sandi Duverneuil

Sandi Duverneuil grew up in the vibrant artistic community of Southampton, NY, where early exposure to a kaleidoscope of cultures sparked her lifelong love of French and Japanese traditions.

Her passion for language and culture led her to Nice, France, where she immersed herself for two years, and to Fukuoka, Japan, where she taught English as a Foreign Language on the JET Program.

Through writing and painting, Sandi discovered her creative zen and embraces life as an author, artist, and cultural connector—using words, paint, and shared experiences to build bridges across cultures and communities.

Her debut poetry collection, Dragonfly Dances: Poetic Musings on Life, weaves together French and Japanese influences with the cultural tapestry of her upbringing.
