Alice Dickson is a graduate of Temple University School of Nursing and St. Joseph’s University with a degree in psychology. Prior to becoming an author, Alice held various nursing positions in home care, long-term care facilities, hospice care and working with autistic individuals.
She has also worked within the incarcerated community through the Prison Bible Study Ministry at her church, Bethlehem Baptist. Along with her husband, Roger they started Reach Out To Serve Inc, to provide financial aid to individuals and families with limited resources and focus on food insufficiency with grants.
Alice was married to Roger for fifty-two years. They have two children and three grandchildren and live in the First State of Delaware, Through her memoir, Alice hopes to show how abuse and bigotry affected her life…but did not destroy her.
