Reto Kaltbrunner

Reto Kaltbrunner (born 1979) married in 2002 and began his career as an ICF pastor in the same year. The church became an integral part of his life, and with the church also the challenges and questions of people.

Having barely learned to write as a child, Reto handed out a “local newspaper” typed on a typewriter in the neighboring mailboxes, which caused quite a smile.

After secondary school and a year abroad (USA), as well as successfully completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter, Reto kept himself afloat with part-time jobs in order to volunteer in his church's youth work.

He completed the ICF Pastors Challenge, founded the men's weekend “Mens World”, is involved in the advisory board of the men's magazine MOVO and, as part of the EASG board, wants to make his adopted hometown of St.Gallen a better place.

Reto runs an inspiring blog, preaches here and there and takes his little dog for walks.

Since 2018, Reto has been dealing with chronic fatigue, which is severely affecting his life and work.

Reto lives with his wife and four sons in Switzerland (St.Gallen region).
