Peter Berk

The son of "Columbo," "Mission: Impossible" and "The Rockford Files" writer Howard Berk, Peter Berk has written nine novels, six TV pilots and a dozen screenplays, including several with his father which became the basis of the TimeLock series of novels. The original TimeLock novel - in which a 23 year-old man who's wrongly convicted of murder becomes among the first to undergo a radical cellular acceleration process in which prisoners are instantly aged the number of years of their sentence - was a Finalist in the 2023 Chanticleer International Book Awards for Science Fiction, Mystery, and Global Thrillers. TimeLock was also named as a Distinguished Favorite in the TechnoThriller category of the 2024 Independent Press Award. TimeLock 2: The Kyoto Conspiracy was published in 2023 and the third book in the series was published in 2025 by IngramElliott. Later that year, IngramElliott also published Peter's political murder mystery, "First Line Of Defense," and August of this year saw the release of his eco-thriller, Fireline, described below.
