Chris Winspear is an Australian author and narrative designer. Winner of the Grand Prize in the Writers of the Future Contest 2020, he is currently developing Frostpunk 2 at 11-bit Studios, in Warsaw, Poland. He is avid traveller, having lived on five of the world’s continents and visited more countries than he can count.
His spec-fic stories have also appeared in Teleport Magazine and the anthologies Short and Twisted and Empty Sky. He has a Master’s of Creative Writing from UTS, Sydney. His literary short stories “The Market” and “No More Piano Lessons” earned awards from the Peter Cowan Writer Centre and Rhonda Jankovic Literary Awards, and his novel manuscript The Lightreaders won the Writing NSW Varuna Fellowship.
