Andrew Wallis

Andrew Wallis is a Manufacturing Anthropologist and Ontological Appraiser. Also a recumbent entrepreneur, his resume is punctuated by diverse occupations including; technical writer, video engineer and parent. He has pursued formal education in disciplines such as: Welding, Photography, Broadcasting, Electronics, Mathematics, Childhood Development, and Philosophy. Haunting the campuses of institutions such as; NYCC, Yale, Stanford, Santa Barbara and several other California state colleges, all to no particular effect. Commitments with Landmark Education, and in traditional apprenticeships in Resale Sales and Natural Horsemanship have proven profound. His personal interests include; art, architecture, philosophy, eCommerce, odd antiques and collectibles.

His relatively quiet and kindly unassuming manner is occasionally punctuated by unexpected and bitingly insightful remarks that can be equally mistaken for arrogance or humor. In friendly company he is known as a conversationalist of intermittent wit and as a habitual Tinkerer, his favorite tools are a small inclined plane, and distinctions as structure of intelligence themselves.

As the Technical Director of The Epic of The OAI, Andrew holds the story to a high bar of integrity by bringing the locus of his analytic skills to distinguish the architectural armature and fabric of the story world. He undertakes this heroic quest by peering into and through the opacity of the foibles, mistaken beliefs, and occasional outright lies, of the vast cast of characters, from that of a developing canon of Atrian history and culture.

Work at Zhameesha LLC he is accredited as the creator of The Wallis Test, a recontextualisation of Turing’s “Imagination Game" where the test subject is now the observer, and that the limit of human intelligence is measured by an individual person's ability to distinguish between conscious intelligence, and their own default to anthropomorphise a machine’s behavior.
