Elis Cadette

I am an author from the beautiful Island of Saint Lucia with a love for writing. I remember the first book I enjoyed reading as a child was A Tale of Two Cities. While reading this book, it gave me the feeling of being able to transport myself into the story. I believe everyone, at some point in their lives, yearns to be like a child again. Putting myself in the mind of a child gives me the freedom to be childlike. When I write my stories, my goal is to give anyone who read my books that same feeling. I don't want my books to just impact the children who read it but also the adults who read it to them. I want to thank my Aunt Michelle who forced me to read A Tale of Two Cities and my English teacher Victor Cornibert for believing in me and my writing. I am blessed to have hard people who pushed me to do my best. I pray I never forget the people who have always been my encouragers from the beginning.
