Michael Stutts is not the first executive to have anxiety issues, feel the pressure at work, and crack under the weight. But he is probably the first person to write a book about going to a psych ward in detail, and definitely the first one to incorporate this many music and pop culture references in the text.
Michael in three bullets:
· Mashup son of a banker and a TV star, 80’s kid, Tar Heel, insecure overachiever, over-sharer
· Former Managing Director and Partner at a big time consulting firm, now a C-suite corporate executive
· Experienced speaker and evangelist in normalizing mental health in team rooms, board rooms, and corner offices
Michael started his career in investment banking and management consulting, working his way to Managing Director and Partner at a global consultancy. Michael then led Information Technology and Digital Engagement at a multi-billion dollar restaurant company and is now the Chief Marketing Officer at a global cruise line. Michael received a degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
