The kidnapping not only changed, but defined my life for many years. In and out of jail starting at age 13. In and out of psych wards starting at age 17. Estranged from my family, not willing to let anyone get close, I became violent, despondent, started a 20 year drug addiction, and lived in fear of becoming a serial killer. I lived in anger and rage with no peace, no joy, never happy.

Now, 47 years later, I am a pastor, a Christian counselor, a life coach, marriage coach, and drug and alcohol counselor. I have found my peace and joy. I haven't been to jail or a psych ward for over 14 years. I celebrated 25 years of sobriety from hard drugs on the 28th of October 2023 and 13 years sobriety from weed and alcohol on November 30 2023.

It's been a hard, rewarding road. Join me on my journey.
