Mark Steven Nordlund

My name is Mark Steven Nordlund and I am the writer/illustrator for the successful Dead End County Monster comic strip that ran from 2012 to 2017. I was awarded Daily Deviant on Deviant Art and was placed in the top 100 online comic strips of over 9,000 by Comic Chameleon.

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois USA but I run my publishing group (boohousebooks) out of San Antonio, Texas where I now live. I've always been a fan of 80's horror films and B movies from the 60's to the 70's. I love anything supernatural, odd or anything involving mini or giant monsters. I was born in 1983 and remain a true child of the 80's and 90's.

My dream has always been to write fantasy, comedy and horror novels and I finally wrote my first one in July of 2023 (Mining For Teeth, Wilstrom Territories Book One). Since then, I have been writing and publishing my work independently.
