Tim is an experienced and qualified psychotherapist, consultant, coach, youth leader, communicator, and educator. He has been working in human behaviour and behaviour change, providing training, coaching and facilitation for over 30 years now. For the last 15 years he has worked globally as a trainer and coach within management development with some of the worlds most admired corporate companies and brands.
He has worked within youth work settings for most of his life and subsequently delivered individual, group and community statutory and third sector interventions. He was youth counsellor, outreach, detached, centre based and community project practitioner in multiple roles. He worked in NHS mental health services was Senior Practitioner in drug and alcohol misuse within voluntary sector mental health services in Birmingham and a psychotherapist within a GP surgery setting before embarking on an international career coaching and training people across the global corporate world in human behaviour, psychology, leadership and communication.
He was development manager and co-founder of two community interest companies aimed at young people, their parents, carers and educators. He fundraised for these CIC’s and two other charities, Reset (addressing mental and physical health for emergency responders, military and frontline medical staff) and iHeart (helping young people uncover their innate resilience and mental wellbeing) whom he was heavily involved with working as Operations Manager and Facilitator/Mentor/Tutor respectively.
Over the pandemic he co-founded HumaniOS which is focussed on better connections, decisions and outcomes for individuals and teams within organisations and corporate sector. Tim’s first book has been co-written with colleagues from HumaniOS entitled ‘The Three Principles: A beginner’s guide to The Human Operating System’. This introduces readers to the work of the late Sydney Banks and subsequent other teachers and practitioners revealing the true nature of human experience through innate health realisation, inside out or subtractive psychology.
Tim has a youthful approach and vast life experience belying his years from unemployment to earning a six-figure salary and back again, from living as a troubled child & young teenager to international consultant, from depression anxiety and addiction to psychotherapist, from trouble with education to multi-graduate and educator, from lost in life to inner peace he has earned graduation and wisdom from university of life in addition to his many academic qualifications.
Tim has a great sense of humour. In his company one is not without fun and laughter and people can connect deeply with a sense of calm, empathy, relaxation and wisdom. People describe him as a “calming influence” who is non-judgemental, intuitively reads others, knowing who people are being and what is needed. He can be fun yet down to earth, relaxed, and patient. He is honest, open, professional, collaborative, and innovative.
He loves to spend time in outdoors in nature, walking the dogs, wild swimming, paddle boarding, camping, hiking, and attending music festivals and gigs. He loves music, plays guitar, harmonica and sings. He lives in the outstanding beauty of the Malvern Hills countryside with his beloved wife, Tiffany, cherished daughter, Tia, their two dogs, Tessie and Star, cat, Boo Boo and chickens.
