Bo Shepherd

Bo Shepherd, affectionately known as "Boss Lady" by her peers, is an artist, interior designer, entrepreneur, co-founder, and the creative force behind Woodward Throwbacks, a sustainable furniture brand in Detroit, Michigan.

Bo and her partner Kyle have recently expanded Woodward Throwbacks with a new retail arm, Throwbacks Home, which brings furniture, vintage, and antique decor to downtown Detroiters and online shoppers.

Also head of design at Woodward Throwbacks, Bo leads the brand's interior design services. Her ethos is to create authentic spaces filled with authentic furniture by blending multiple furniture styles because she believes a home should be filled with the things you love.

With years of experience rehabbing and designing their clients and their own spaces, the duo's next adventure is writing their first book, Throwbacks Home Interiors, which gives a deep dive into how to incorporate found and reclaimed materials into your home, whether it is old wood saved from your home renovation or vintage found at your local antique market.
