AD Uhlar

AD Uhlar completed her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She has served as a judge for the Realm Awards. She was awarded UNO's Graduate Research and Creative Activities Grant to research blacksmithing for one of her upcoming novels. Yes, she made a sword, among other things.

Her publications include her debut fantasy romance novel: THE ELIXIR OF THE GREEN WILLOW GUARD, the first of her Kingdom of Ethereal Stories, and a number of short stories including "Red" in All the Promises We Cannot Keep, an RHS Anthology, "A Tooth for Trulian" in Meet Me at Midnight, an RHS Anthology, and "The Miller's Daughter" in Whitstead Harvestide: A Speculative Anthology.

In her free time, she guides the creative ventures of her four children and high school students. When she isn't writing or teaching, she farms, hosts game nights, and runs around with four cantankerous Labrador Retrievers.
